Utilizing the eye drops prescribed by your physician will support a rapid and smooth recovery process. As recovery times vary from patient to patient, your doctor's personalized guidance should always remain your primary reference.

Postoperative Eye Drop Treatment

Your eye drop treatment will last for 3 weeks following your lens surgery.

Date of surgery:
  • Vigamox, Demoxif: 1 drop, every hour

  • Dexasine: 1 drop, every hour

On Days 2 and 3:
  • Vigamox, Demoxif: 1 drop, every 2 hours

  • Dexasine: 1 drop, every 2 hours

On Day 4:
  • Vigamox, Demoxif: 4 times daily (every 4 hours), 1 drop

  • Dexasine: 4 times daily (every 4 hours), 1 drop

From day 5 to day 21:
  • Vigamox, Demoxif: 4 times daily (every 4 hours), 1 drop

  • Dexasine: 4 times daily (every 4 hours), 1 drop

Artificial Tears: If you experience dry eyes, you may apply one drop 4 times daily (every 4 hours).

If your eye experience itching 2 days after the surgery, please refrain from rubbing it.

Please do not lie face down on your first day.
